However small labels have continued to offer them in what feels like some sort of underground conspiracy
Anyway back in 2009 Cheap Trick released an album on 8-track
The 8-track tape version cost $30 (while the CD went for $12.99 on Amazon. The record $20 and the digital download $8.99.
I wonder how many people purchased the 8-Track or had the equipment to play it ?
Maybe there are 8-Track collectors at there that prefer it over Vinyl and would argue the value of 8-Tracks versus Compact Discs for quality
